Whitney is the organizer (2nd from right). Thanks Whitney! A very cool group of people. Some of the 20-30 happy heathens of Metroplex Atheists who showed up. Terry McDonald of Metroplex Atheists and Paul at J. Gilligan's Bar & Grill, July 8th. That Alan Saxe Veggie Burger was yummy. Thanks for the introduction to the group! After hanging out with the Freethinkers of Dallas, Paul drove to Arlington, Texas to visit the Metroplex Atheists. Somebody said these people would be here for hours...The Freethinkers of East Texas, night of July 9th, involved in lively conversation at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Tyler. I loved this group; they're a great bunch of people. The discussion and debate here was on par with anything I've ever seen anywhere else in the nation. Who says there aren't any atheists in Tyler Tx? According to the folks at this meetup, this was a "light" night, as they said often 20 or more people show up. I couldn't get enough of that popcorn! Everybody was so friendly, and really rolled out the welcome mat. Their stories of living in north east Texas were all compelling. Apparently there are many more non-believers in the area as well. The Dallas-Plano Atheists on center stage at Gloria's Restaurant, July 7th. Nice Face David. I came all the way from San Antonio for that? Gloria's makes good Mojitos. Mmmmm...Linda and Paul at Gloria's Restaurant on Beltline. Linda is the Organizer of the Dallas-Plano Meetup group. I got to meet so many great people, like Jeff here, and learn so much from this group. At least thirty people were at this meetup...on a school night. The San Antonio Atheists Meetup at Mela's Restaurant, August 21, 2009.The food was great at the Mela restaurant and so was the company. Paul, Dave (meetup organizer) and Nick Lee. Above here in purple is Mrs. Stenger. Victor's wife, who travels with him everywhere! Actually he was more than willing to sign the books as he knew we'd meet prior to the AAI Convention.
